Sunrise Moving & Storage was happy to take part in Career Day at Alford Elementary in Lawrenceville, GA. Our professionals took part in the day to show children throughout the school what we do and immerse them in the world of moving and storage—even if just for a little while. We’re proud to take a little time to get involved with our community and maybe even inspire some future moving and storage professionals!
What is Career Day?
For schools like Alford Elementary and middle and high schools alike, schools will often bring in local professionals from a wide variety of industries to talk to kids about what they do for work, what their jobs entail, and possible future career paths kids could go into. Career Day serves as an interactive way to get kids educated yet excited about what they want to do as a career in the future.
How Sunrise Moving & Storage Gets Involved
Sunrise Moving & Storage loves to get involved and give back to our community in any way we can—especially if we can inspire some aspiring moving and storage pro’s along the way. During our time at Alford’s career day, we took some time to walk kids through what goes into working and running a moving and storage company, including what we do for our clients and how we carry out our moving processes. From packing up a box or moving it from one point to another, we kept the kids engaged and hopefully brought a little fun to their days in the process.
Being a part of the team at Sunrise goes beyond just packing and moving boxes, however. We prioritize the customer experience and work to create true partnerships with the individuals and companies we work with. Building trust is key to a successful and stress-free move, and we do everything we can to provide just that to those who choose to work with us for their relocation services.
In addition to going above and beyond for our clients, Sunrise also makes it our priority to give back to and get involved with our community. Having a presence in our community not only lets us be a resource for members of our community but also enriches the area we live and work in and allows us to help those who need it.
